What was scariest was cutting the coolant lines in the van so I could install a hot water heater. But! The van has plumbing, hot water, and almost a full ceiling, the installation of which was easy until it wasn’t and then required numerous emotional support cookies to manage. Additionally: celebrated good friends, horrified my dog with a bandana, leaned in to Spooky Season, had fun wine times, met many tiny frogs on a small local adventure & declared (repeatedly) that Scream is my favorite movie.#vanbuild #photodump #francine

To window or not to window, that’s at least one To window or not to window, that’s at least one of the questions. 🥴Pro: more light, spots for dog to observe, better view of my surroundings, increased air flow.Con: costs many dollars, is a pain in the ass, could break my spirit, maybe increased security risk, and will affect heat retention in the van.#vanbuild #helpme #vanconversion
